Sonoma State University Library
All mobile, all the time!!! I love our new classroom. All the tables, chairs, whiteboards, and projectors are on wheels. Everything is very easy to move around, and we often have at least three different configurations in one day. This is a laptop classroom.
My current favorite configuration is the clusters, which helps out immensely with paired or group work.
The tables are Baker M Collection. Chairs are Herman Miller Caper Chairs. Whiteboard are Herman Miller as well.

A library is a collection of sources, resources, and services, and the structure in which it is housed; it is organized for use and maintained by a public an institution, or a private individual. This Sonoma State University Library look's wonderful and good reputed.

This is beautiful! It looks so practical and affordable. Would you or anyong who uses laptops in teaching give me an estimate of how long it takes to set them and how much maintenance it requires?

Hi Diane!
It takes about 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after each class to set up and take down the laptops. We have one of our technology student assistants who staffs a nearby desk do the set up and take down.
We haven't had any trouble with battery life yet. However, we do a max of 3-hours of classes in a row, then block laptop use for 1-2 hours for recharging purposes. I imagine as the batteries get older, this will be more of a problem (not unsolvable, however).
A student assistant or staff member checks them quickly every morning and night, just to ensure they're all accounted for and plugged in correctly in the charging cart.
